LEADERSHIP TRAINING (3-5 days)

TEAM BUILDING WORKSHOPS

(2-3 days Indoor and outdoor adventure learning programs)

•  Align and focus Team.

•  Develop a more supportive and trusting culture amongst team members and team leader.

•  Emphasise the value of diversity in the team through the MBTI.

•  Test team's ability to function through a team simulation/problem solving exercise

•  Forge agreements on what we are willing to commit to via an explicit “Team Charter”. This will -define ‘our ways of working together'

•  Understand the stages of team development-where are we?

•  Conduct a “Force Field Analysis” – A Continuous Improvement Tool to determine the forces working for and against the team achieving maximum results.

•  Review data from Team Effectiveness Measurement Survey on how individuals rated current team performance.

UNDERSTANDING SELF IN ORDER TO INFLUENCE OTHERS

The world's most widely used personality type inventory. The MBTI is a statistically valid psychological type instrument which helps you:

  • to identify your own strengths and unique gifts
  • appreciate others so as to make constructive use of difference
  • resolve conflict
  • in career development
  • improve teamwork.

Understanding your MBTI type is self-affirming and enhances cooperation and productivity. Each type has its own strengths and areas for development; therefore no type is better or worse than the others.

Most importantly it is an enjoyable and interesting instrument which is non-judgmental and does not reveal any abnormal behaviour or psychological disturbances. It highlights differences amongst normal, healthy people that can be a source of misunderstanding and poor communication.

360 Degree FEEDBACK - EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE

This is an on-line survey in which a number of raters provide anonymous feedback on your leadership style. We believe this is one of the most important leadership Development tools available.

Managers must understand their strengths and blind spots as perceived by others and we then work with you on creation of an individual development plan. We strongly recommend “The ECI-Emotional Competence Inventory”, which is at the cutting edge worldwide of leadership development. This instrument measures Leadership Behaviours and Competencies which define highly effective leaders as researched by HayGroup and administered by 3P.
